Mathieu Tonetti




Mathieu Tonetti was discovered in 2001, when he directed his friend Sebastien Tellier's music video ("Universe"), and explores a fantasy world he alone holds the key to.
 
Mathieu, who embodies the "French Touch", has directed videos for many internationally-renowned French artists, including Air, Phoenix and Sebastien Tellier, and worked with Daft Punk on the film Electroma.
 
He also co-wrote Sebastien Tellier's albums L'Incroyable Verite and Politics, directed Airstrike, an off-the-wall 52' documentary on Air's US tour, a documentary produced for the DVD release of Roman Coppola's feature film CQ, and the documentary Cannes B-Side featuring French artists Sebastien Tellier, Kavinsky, Quentin Dupieux, Daft Punk, Hushpuppies and Air shot during Cannes Film Festival 2006.

In 2016, Mathieu moved to Los Angeles to write and shot the tv series A Girl is a Gun about women revolution starring Denise Richards produced by Manny Films.
